Tell us what you think of 'Fairer Renting' White Paper urges landlord leader

NRLA boss Ben Beadle has urged landlords to complete its rental reform survey ahead of the Friday deadline.

The survey has already had almost 3,500 responses, but Beadle wants even more landlords - both members and non-members - involved, in order to make it the largest landlord consultation on the Renters' Reform Bill and government White Paper.

"It will inform my in-person appearance at the Levelling Up committee on 5th September when I'll be appearing alongside the LGA, British Property Federation, Shelter and Generation Rent," he says.

"Please complete it if you haven't already and get your voice heard. If you're an agent, feel free to #share the link with your landlords."

Landlords are being asked:

Which parts of the proposed reforms threaten the private rented sector?

Which parts could landlords live with? What will be the impact of these reforms on the sector?

Which specific parts of the sector are most at risk?

And do those businesses which support landlords (accountants, property management companies, letting agents) have similar fears about the impact of these wide-ranging proposals?

The NRLA says responses will help it identify those areas of most concern, provide an evidence base and help it point out the consequences of these reforms if passed unchecked.

Landlords who complete the survey by the Friday closing date - which takes about 25-30 minutes - will be entered into a draw for £200 of John Lewis vouchers.
